Selank

Selank is a seven-residue tuftsin analogue carrying a proline-glycine-proline extension. Like Semax it originates largely from eastern European manufacturers and is frequently quoted alongside it as a pair.

The tuftsin portion is prone to deamidation on storage, so retest date and storage conditions matter as much as the release purity figure when comparing lots of different age.

Typical related substances are deamidated asparagine variants, truncated tuftsin fragments and residual acetate and water.
