Peptide synthesis is campaign economics. Setup, cleaning validation and method transfer dominate the cost, so a small run costs a manufacturer nearly what a large one does. One aggregated order is worth more to them than eight scattered ones.
Manufacturers pay 2% of what members buy through the group. On resold surplus material, the buyer pays 1.5%. Both are printed on every quote. We never take title to material and never earn a margin on the product itself.
