GHK-Cu

Regulatory status

Not an approved drug substance in the United States and not on the 503A bulks list. Available to verified facilities for research and manufacturing use only.

Summary

GHK-Cu is a glycyl-histidyl-lysine tripeptide complexed with copper in a nominal one-to-one ratio. It is supplied as a distinctive deep blue powder, and colour intensity is a crude but useful first indication of whether the complex is intact.

Copper content by ICP is the figure that separates qualified lots from uncomplexed peptide sold under the same name. We require both the copper assay and the peptide assay before a quote enters a comparison.

Typical related substances

Typical related substances are uncomplexed GHK, copper-deficient and copper-excess species and hydrolysed histidyl fragments.
